We sat down at one of the tables in the cafeteria, Cheryl and Allen were in some kind of argument and Sammi and Bryan were all mushy together. Onyx had plopped down beside me.
"So, aren't you going to tell me what's up?" She pleaded, complete with a tilt of her head and pouty lips.
"It's personal," I sighed, "You wouldn't understand." And immediately after, I wish I hadn't said that. Onyx's face had hardened into a scowl.
"You're not the only freak here." She simply put, then got up to sit by Sammi, refusing to look at me. I mentally face-palmed.
